A Showcase of Our Recent Work Throughout Connecticut

Orthopedic Center of CT   Farmington, CT

Commencing in August 2021 and opening in May 2022, this renovation of the former Connecticut School of Broadcasting included a complete gut of the interior space down to exterior wall studs. From there, construction began with all new framing, electrical, and plumbing/mechanical systems for the orthopedic offices. Additionally, an entire physical therapy gym was constructed for rehab services. Two state-of-the-art x-ray rooms were also constructed for orthopedic patient services. DJB is now in the process of managing the renovation of an adjacent building for a future medical aesthetics facility.

Buckland Commons - South Windsor, CT

Buckland Commons was a ground-up project completed in Fall 2019. DJB was brought in as the general contractor by the Hannoush Family, owners of Hannoush Jewelers, to ensure a correct and efficient build of this 19,500 sq. ft office & retail building. DJB managed all phases of the project construction, from early site work to structural framing to interior build-outs. 

Alloy Specialties, Inc - Manchester, CT

Alloy Specialties, Inc was an aerospace manufacturing facility project that was completed in 2017. This complete remodel of 14,000 square feet consisted of renovation of old structures and construction of office space, CMM rooms, quality control areas, and a new shipping and receiving center. Along with that, DJB completed extensive renovations to existing manufacturing areas and additional  office space. 

DeNovellis Family Restaurant - Rocky Hill, CT

DeNovellis Family Restaurant was a renovation project of former restaurant space. DJB completed all construction needs including new flooring and ceiling tiles, private dining room, new kitchen, and an entirely new 50-person bar area. 

Altas Singer Realty - East Hartford, CT

Atlas Singer Reality was a complete renovation of existing warehouse space. Completed in Spring 2018, the warehouse space was gutted and converted into modern, upscale office space. 

PDQ, Inc Expansion Rocky Hill, CT

Following the multi-million dollar addition completed in 2014, DJB commenced in the management of yet another expansion project at PDQ, Inc. This project entailed the construction of a 10,000 sq. ft. clear-span 2nd story addition above the existing 1st floor for office and quality control spaces. DJB is currently managing the construction of a 6,500 sq. ft. renovation to the 1st floor to house additional manufacturing and shipping department space. Root Down Power Yoga - Hartford, CT

Root Down Power Yoga was an interior renovation project completed in March 2019. Interior reno consisted of removal of flooring and ceiling and non-structural walls to allow for more open space. The renovation led to a gorgeous mix of old and new. DJB was able to incorporate the existing brickwork and classic city architecture of the downtown space to coincide with the owners dreams of having a chic and modern yoga studio. The results shown in the pictures above speak for themselves. The exposed brick and wood paneled doors and archways together with the dark flooring and chic lighting illuminate the perfected mixture of modern city and classic architecture. 

PDQ, Inc - Rocky Hill, CT

PDQ, Inc was a mutli-million dollar renovation and addition to an aerospace manufacturing facility. The 15,000 square foot two-phase project took two years to complete. Tasks ranged from simple renovations to construction of an 8,000 square foot production floor and over 1,000 square feet of air filtered and purified quality control areas. DJB continues to assist PDQ, Inc in any and all construction needs.

DeNovellis by the Shore - Clinton, CT

DeNovellis by the Shore was a brief renovation project lasting two months that included installation of new floors and ceiling tiles, as well as new kitchen equipment. Along with that, DJB completed remodeled three apartments located above the restaurant. 

Katz Ace Hardware - Glastonbury, CT

Katz Ace Hardware consisted of the construction of a 2,000 square foot storage garage for rental equipment and the renovation of the entire 1,000 square foot paint department.
